The Turkish coast – that well –known holiday destination famous for its plentiful sunshine, gulet cruises, belly dancing, shish kebabs and all-inclusive resorts. Well, certainly, all of that’s true – but look a little deeper and you will quickly discover there’s much more to the place than meets the eye! Around Turkey’s 8.333 km coastline, you’ll encounter not just the long sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, but intricate chains of hundred of bays in the Southern Aegean, with its rocky mountains and turquoise fjord-like gulfs, the rolling hills around the Sea of Marmara, the golden sands of the Western Black Sea and the steep mountains rising up thousands of metres from the Eastern Black Sea coast.
