Aperlai Ancient City
Aperlai is a coastal region, which had an important place during Lykia Era. However, according to the research studies Aperlai was there before the Lykia Era. There are towers for defensive purposes and fortification walls belong to the Era. There are 3 doors on the west wall, which have been protected the most and remained undamaged up to this day. It is possible to coincide with many remains in the region. The easiest option to visit this city is by sea. Aperlai is situated at Sıçak Peninsula between Kaş and Kekova. You can go to Sıçak pier from the Kaş region by renting a gulet yacht.
Simena Ancient City
Simena is a small Lykia coastal city just like Aperlai, is named Kaleköy and located near Üçağız borders of Demre. The reason for its name (Kaleköy – Castle/Fortress Village) is the Castle that highlights the strategic importance of Simena, which is still intact nowadays. Ruins of Simena are still continuing their existence both on the land and under the sea. Parts of the pier, stairs, and homes have been remained under the water due to earthquakes. It is not possible to have access to Simena by road. You could comfortably visit the region via boat rental.
Kekova Ancient City
Kekova is one of the important regions that you should visit among the most popular antique harbor regions. This region is located between Simena and Üçağız Village; it is a protected region today and hosts lots of structures from the historical to natural beauty. Access to this location also known as Dolchiste is possible only by the sea just like Simena Also, there are various pensions and cafes in Kekova.
